History of  BodyTalk Essex

Helen Cutbill (Certified BodyTalk Practitioner) opened BodyTalk Essex in June 2006.

Due to her husband's work commitments Helen temporarily relocated from the UK to Australia at the beginning of 2005. The BodyTalk System is highly successful in Australia and it was in Sydney that Helen was first introduced to this highly effective form of healthcare.

“Two friends of mine were attending BodyTalk sessions at a Clinic in Sydney. Both of these friends are professional, down to earth people, who were quite sceptical before attending their first sessions but were now achieving unquestionably successful results.

They were both so impressed with the results achieved through BodyTalk, that it motivated me to book a session for myself. I was equally impressed by BodyTalk and knew immediately that I had to learn more about this refreshing approach to healthcare

Helen studied Modules 1&2 in Sydney and the Advanced Practical Module in Brisbane. The courses were run by Lynette Favell, a highly experienced Practitioner / Instructor who has been involved with BodyTalk since its creation in the mid 90’s. Helen took full advantage of living in Australia, and was able to devote a large amount of time to studying and practicing the BodyTalk System. Helen took her BodyTalk examination in February 2006, and became a Certified BodyTalk practitioner.

“Taking a career break and moving to Australia provided me with the precious opportunity to study BodyTalk. My instructor Lynette has been involved in BodyTalk since it was first created by fellow Australian John Veltheim. She has a wealth of experience and knowledge and I feel privileged to have been trained by her. I am now incredibly excited to be bringing BodyTalk to Essex, and to be joining the growing number of Qualified BodyTalk Practitioners in the UK.”

Helen returned to the UK in May 2006 and was pleased to open a BodyTalk Clinic in Chelmsford Town Centre. Then, due to the birth of her daughter Hope, in September 2007, Helen now works from home. 

Helen is a Practicing Member of the International BodyTalk Association and as such is committed to ongoing training and development within the BodyTalk System.   Since her return to the UK, Helen has attended Advanced Modules 3, 4(7),6, 8a Animal Talk, 9 and BodyTalk Interactive.. 

“Attending the advanced courses has been amazing.  The techniques learnt in Modules 1&2 were powerful, but these advanced techniques take BodyTalk to a whole new level.  I greatly enjoyed the courses and it was wonderful to spend time with other UK amd European BodyTalk Practitioners. 

I recently attended the BodyTalk Interative course, held by John Veltheim.  It was very helpful to gain more understanding of the science behind the system.  I was also lucky enough to receive a session from John. " 

Helen welcomes enquires from companies, clubs and organisations that would be interested in Helen visiting their premises to provide a talk on BodyTalk. She is currently working with local companies, providing on site BodyTalk sessions to their staff. Employers recognise their most valuable commodity is a well informed, strongly motivated, happy and healthy work force. Staff absence due to ill health is costly to the Company and demoralising to everyone, both the sick employee and those left to shoulder the increased workload. BodyTalk can be beneficial to the staff and the employers as it can decrease sick leave and increase production by maintaining a healthy happy workforce.
