What does a BodyTalk Session involve?
| What does a BodyTalk Session involve? |
BodyTalk sessions are refreshingly simple, totally safe and completely non-invasive. The Client relaxes on a treatment table (remaining fully dressed). It is recommended that the Client wear loose fitting clothes, preferably made out of natural fibres. Clients may be asked to remove their watches, jewellery, and any electrical devices such as mobile phones.
The Practitioner uses a muscle response in the Client’s arm (neuromuscular bio-feedback) to receive 'yes/no' responses whilst working through a strict protocol. Through this method, the Practitioner can not only locate the weakened lines of communication within the body, but also find the proper order in which they are to be addressed. Just as the body heals a wound with a particular sequencing of chemical reactions, the body wants to address all healing in a certain order. This is a factor that many other health modalities have tended to ignore.
The indications received through the muscle testing, enables the practitioner to find out which organs, endocrines, or body parts need to be connected to heal communication between them at physiological, biochemical, circulatory, nervous, emotional and/or energy levels.

The Client and Practitioner then touch the parts that need repair, and the practitioner gently taps the head of the patient in order to focus the brain towards repair. This tapping is based on an old Hatha Yoga technique, and experiments show that when this tapping occurs whilst specific parts are being touched there is a major increase in brain activity in relation to those parts. The practitioner then taps the chest to store the changes in the heart energy complex, which ensures that the balance is held in deep memory and is therefore long lasting.
Each Client has unique needs and the length of a session therefore varies, dependent on the Client. The length of a session has no relation to the quality of a session. Some of the shortest sessions can be the most powerful. On average sessions last 30-45 minutes. At BodyTalk Essex, we allow one hour for each session so that the practitioner has time to discuss the outcome of the session with the Client.
The number of BodyTalk sessions needed will also vary from patient to patient. At the end of a session, the practitioner uses the same muscle testing technique to determine whether future sessions are necessary, and if so when the next visit should be scheduled. This information is given as a guide only, the final decision rests with the Client.
Clients find BodyTalk sessions relaxing and enjoyable. Because the system is totally safe, Clients have nothing to loose and everything to gain.
